Alex Webb

There are three elements that are very interesting in Webb’s photography.

Firstly I love the action that is captured in most of his images. He focuses on movement during bizarre moments that unveil a very specific character of the image. He focuses on simple everyday life, with no luxury, just simple and maybe poor people. He finds beauty in brutality and ugliness in a very interesting way that realleses ideas of questioning the image of the world. I personaly am very influenced by how he capptures almost shocking ways of lifestyle that differ to western reality. Lastly, not beeing sure if the colors are editied or are just the 90s film colours, however, I feel like they’re able to capture a contrast of reality between romance and bluntness.

These atributes are things that I hevily try to capture with my pictuyres even though I do fail usualy.
